Had a good 8 days there. Still need more snow though, lacking drastically compared to past years, as lots of rocks were hit. Hoping for more as wasn't much fresh dropped over the holidays, so if your listening Mother Nature, I need more before the trip on the 23rd. Here's a few pics of our holidays.

Rode Renshaw on Friday & Saturday. Found lots of deep stuff on the backside to play in. On another note....the bridge at 4km should be marked if you were to be coming back to the staging area. I had the pleasure of skidding stright off the road and almost ended up in a pile of logs on the other side. Not sure if any of the trail maintance people follow the threads on here, but there should be a sign put up or something marking the sharp left turn. I also watched another sledding about 3min after I went off do the same thing, except he managed to stop at the edge.

my son slid on the ice and went over that a few years ago too... No damage, but the next afternoon a lady went over on a new nytro and pretty much wrote it off.... Could use a sign before that corner, if you don't know the trail.

I would like to think that everyone that travels to the mountains for the first time would know to use extreme caution when travelling any trails (groomed or otherwise) into the backcountry. This isn't the prairies people, where you have five mile straight stretches. In the mountains, expect the corners to be numerous and unexpected.

surprisingly i haven't had issues with the bridges going up to renshaw, but my nytro just sucks on the trails in general, its setup more for the powder, so i drive it accordingly. But i remember hitting ice on that trailand doing a 1260 degree spin, lol. plastic paddles on an old phazer made for interesting hardpack and ice riding, lol.

heading back to McBride on the 15th, can't wait

I'm not sure how fast I was going...just crusing a comfortable speed for myself. I didn't miss it the day before. The turn morealess caught me off guard...I don't know if I wasn't paying attention at the time or if it was the lighting conditions at dusk or what. But by the sounds of it I guess I'm not the only one who had the pleasure of driving off the end at that turn. Not to mention there was a nasty log pile which is stopped only a couple inches away from. Like I said, the next guy that came along I watched skid & stopped at the edge cause it suprised him to. Just my opinion that there should be something to mark that turn.

We had a HUGE blow and snowstorm on Sunday afternoon and evening - took out the power for about 6 hours. That storm blew in some really nice temps and snow clouds. -3 here all day and it looked like light snow fell all day up top. Forecast is for more of the same right through the weekend. Our guests haven't got back from riding Renshaw yet, but hopefully they got some pictures that we can post for you all.

About 10 inches in town of fresh last nite and -4 this Am. Off to renshaw as the group staying at my place said they were the only 4 tracks all day up there. 2-3 feet of fresh anywhere you wanted to go if you could go. Should be one of those epic rides today with the new overnite. Pic's to follow tonite.
Will take a look at the corner at 4 for you and if need be will put up a sign. First I have heard of this problem, thanks.
