very strange problem with a yamaha bruin!!

i am having one of the weirdest problems ever with my bruin!!! youll be driving along and all of the sudden the atv will start studdering , you have no power , and the reverse light turns on!!! but the bruin is still runnin!! does anyone know whats wrong?? has anyone had any problems like this on any atv??? anything helps!! please reply ASAP i need this atv all the time!! thanks:d.

prob reverse switch my rhino did that along with about 10% of all rhinos, i took the wire off the switch and put it to the frame(ground) no reverse light at all. could be just a connection problem as well,

where's the switch , under the gearshift? and what your saying is take the ground wire off and ground it somewhere else?? what do u mean?

not sure where it is on your quad it will only have one wire going to it, you will know it is the right one, if you unplug it your reverse light will should come on. take the single wire and run it to ground.

do check on grizzly central seems to be some info for you on there, also the shifter position switch could cause that.

It is the reverse sensor switch.my grizz did the same thing.Mine was behind the head ontop of the tranny.A one wire sensor.Hope it cures your problem.
