Muff pot mounting!

Hey guys just wondering what the best place is to mount a muff pot on 2011 M8?

right at the head of the pipe, just on the other side of the flange from the y-pipe

Mine on my 08 1000.i put it right on the flange on pipe side. Right where the springs go over.So if i have to take the pipe off i dont have to take the muff pot off.Buy the $5 dollar clamp at princess auto,not the cheap ones they will rattle lose.
