around 10 members of the tailcreek snowbirds snowmobile club will be coming to valemount for a zacs tracs field course on jan 10 and we are just wondering if there will be a valemount and area club member or 2 that would like to go riding with us on friday jan 9.
track upgrade to the 2.6, make sure it has been upgraded to the newer clutches, narrowed ski stance on newer models, the track is dropped on newer models, and if u do that make sure you put an anti-stab kit on. lower gearing on new models. all good factory mods that make it a lot different to...
first ride out on my 2014 and i couldnt be happier, i through a few parts at it and what a proper beast it is. i went with slydog skis, very sensitive on rider input. bikeman stage one kit, vforce reeds-y pipe-pipe-can-adjustable weights-helix-programer. this kit puts out amazing it was worth...
the best is when u call them to report your stolen rig and they take 3 hours to get there and when they finally do they accuse u of being the biggest problem in the theft, and maybe having something to do with it. like i wanted to drive 8 hours to rent a sled and gear to go riding when i had...
i have never seen one jell but i do know antifreeze looses its ability to cool effectively, but it takes a few years. its always best to use manufacturer recommended coolant.
So im thinking since the last 2 times i have went to bc i have had my quads/sleds and tuck trailer stolen, maybe i should sleep in my back seat with my shot gun. all the gun is for is a noise maker to wake up every sledder in the area to see and help me convince the thief to stop stealing. a...
As a guy who has had his truck stolen twice this year, security is a must not just cameras becuase lets face it they suck and they are only slightly useful to the cops to tell when the vehicle went missing. gated fenced yards where the criminals have to work for your stuff is the way to go...
im not trying to take anything away from doing it yourself actually i do most of my own work on my sled, i have polished my tunnel before and i know what it takes to do a great job, i am simply saying that for the time a average person spends working and bleeding on their sled a quality shop...
1100 miles on mine and just installed my second belt, i love the way this thing rides, after a little suspension tuning this machine does everything i ask it to and with a lot less effort than the old cat chassis. id take t&t up on their offer to go ride them u wont be dissapointed. i have the...
or for the hassle u could disassemble a few things and take it to a shop that polishes big rigs and they will do it for cheap, the common price i hear is 100 bucks
just wondering if anyone has tried the video goggles from zeal optics yet i seen them at the edmonton asa sled show. i havent heard if they are working out???
the motor shaking is normal from what im used to. as for 8400rpm im not used to seeing mine above 8150 or 8200 ever, i was told that is u have a pipe,y-pipe and can its normal to see that kind of increase in rpm. i would be asking my dealer just to make sure.
it seems the belt issues are on isolated sleds. just wondering if trying a different belt like a dayco/carlisle might work.
cat sent me a new belt and some extended warranty for my pc-800 but knock on wood not a problem yet. some dealers are better than others and it never hurts to talk to all...
i own a 2012 153 800, vent kit and d&d can. i find that the machine is very easy to control on a side hill as compared to the pro, it seems to dive into the hill and stick better. the pro is easier to get started to lean but it seems to want to fall over or fall back when sidehilling, where as...
