I have 26" Swamplites on my Kingquad750 + know two friends who have them on KQ700's - they ride very well on dirt roads, grip well on most anything and leave a very cool tire trail ....
Well I took a test ride yesterday with the 26x9x12 Swamplites fitted to the stock Suzuki front rims and what a difference ! the steering is light and responsive again!
Upon further comparision, just as Moose1 suggested, there is a noticeable difference between the backspacing of the stock...
Good choice AC4life.... I have 2008 750Axi Kingquad too - why did I choose Suzuki? I have owned Suzuki road bikes that were totally bulletproof so I figured the 750Axi would be the same and so far I haven't been disappointed - did u get yours from Martins in Lloyd? + would be interested in...
Mmmmm just as I suspected - the dealer says that the rims are fine and the tires are out of balance - and guess what - Brute Force Boy is right, a tire shop cant check an ATV wheel for balance. Catch-22.... so i have invented my own solution. A friend in NB with a KQ and Swamplites pointed out...
Thanks for the input, guys - I'm taking the wheels back to the dealer today to see what he says. I still think its weird that the width of the front wheels is four inches wider at the front than at the back - it just looks wrong somehow lol
Bet loads of you know the answer to this - I have a set of SS112 rims that I just fitted to my KingQuad 750 and the front wheels are, like, several inches further out than the stock rims - this must be screwing up the tracking or something because I get a bad shake through the steering at...
