Agree. If you are running a non-turbo, you will also have better luck with wear. The 180+ HP guys can/have lots of tire spin and its hard on tires.

System 3 XTR370, similar to Carnivore but based on others, better all around for wear, etc. Its a slightly heavier tire though. If mostly rocky terrain, I would get the Roxxzilla's. One of the best rated tires out there. For more of a hard pack tire, I would get the System 3 XC450.

My bad, I reread and just the last 6" of the roof are hitting. I initially read that he needs 6" to get it in. I got lucky as mine is technically too high for the door too, but the angle of the ramp drops the rear enough to let me squeeze in, lots of room once inside.

Idling a diesel without high idle setting is just as hard on diesels as it is on gassers. They can get piston wash. Most have it when cold, but once warm they all idle down unless you added the high idle kit, at least that is the way GM's work.
